The 2024 growing season in Clare Valley began with a relatively dry winter, encouraging early budburst and flowering. Spring rainfall was more generous, and the vines went into summer with good soil moisture profiles. Rain in December further boosted the soil moisture levels, setting the vines up well for the remainder of the season. Summer was mild with no heatwaves which provided optimal ripening conditions. Riesling grapes ripened early, displaying varietal aromatics and precision acidity.
